A Nutcracker StoryWalk part of library’s upcoming activities

STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County is preparing to hold its annual Nutcracker StoryWalk beginning Nov. 25. The StoryWalk can be viewed through Jan. 9. Families are encouraged to bring their children and begin reading the adventure “The Christmas Book Flood,” by Emily Kilgore.

A map depicting the locations of the StoryWalk pages can be picked up at Leonardo’s Coffeehouse or Bookmarx.

The enlarged pages of the book will be posted alongside the life-size nutcrackers on Fourth Street.

Once children have finished reading the book in its entirety, visit the Main Library branch and present your map. Children will receive a nutcracker surprise for completing the StoryWalk.

Children can pick up a Harry Potter grab-and-go craft at any library location beginning Nov. 24, while supplies last.
