Church sermon topics
The following area churches have announced their upcoming sermon titles for Sunday services.
• Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, Steubenville: The 10 a.m. sermon will be “The Ups and Downs of David: Fear Can Make You Crazy.”
• Cadiz Presbyterian Church: “Holding to the Faith!”
• Cove Presbyterian Church, Weirton: The 11 a.m. sermon will be “Just Who Are You Going to Serve?” by Elder Roger Criss.
• Finley Church, Steubenville: The 10:45 a.m. sermon will be “Storing Treasures in Heaven,” taken from the series “The Red Letters — A Deep Dive into the Sermon on the Mount.” The 6 p.m. sermon will be “The Two Most Important Questions.” Both services will be led by the Rev. Greg Kasler.

• Rush Run Community Chapel, Rayland: “If the Foundations Are Destroyed.”
• St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville: “Family Dynamics.”
• St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville: “The Supremacy of Christ.”
• Starkdale Presbyterian Church, Wintersville: “I Am the Good Shepherd.”
• Toronto First Methodist Church: “Living in the Light of His Supremacy.”
• Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, Wintersville: “Living the Way of the Lord.”
• Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church: “The Danger of Disbelief.”
• Wintersville Methodist Church: “Bible Alive 2025 — For Such A Time as This.”
• Zion United Church of Christ, Steubenville: “The Better Choice,” will be the sermon given by guest pastor the Rev. David Brown.
