Town and Country Ladies Golf League
The Town and Country Ladies Golf League held medal play for only odd holes June 12. The winners of medal play were: A Flight was Dorothy Baier, A Flight, 27; Marilyn Crew, B Flight, 33; and Toni Dondzila, C Flight, 36.
Winners of the longest drive on hole No. 3 were: Kathy Antinone, A Flight; Debbie Hendricks, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.
Winners of the longest drive on hole No. 5 were: Antinone, A Flight; and Hendricks, B Flight.
Winners of closest to the pin on hole No. 4 were: Hendricks, B Flight, and Nancy Lellie, C Flight.
Winners of closest to the pin on hole No. 4 were: Vicki Brozka, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Lellie, C Flight.
Crew had low putts with 18.
Spring Hills Ladies Golf League
The Spring Hills Ladies Golf League played Low Gross June 11.
Winner of A Flight were Neysa McCart and Veronica Foldi.
The winner of longest drive went to Tammy Koutsky. The winner of closest to the pin was Cindy Vidas.
B Flight winners were Pat Carey and Patti Powelson.
The longest drive went to Tammy Cox. The winner of closest to the pin was Patty Gerlando.
Highland Springs Ladies Golf League
The women of the Highland Springs Ladies Golf League played the back nine holes on Monday. Winners included Erin Ankrum, first place; Yuko Atwell, second place; and Dottie Virtue, third place. Tammy Cox had the longest drive on hole No. 15.
Laura Froehlich was closest to the pin on her second shot on hole No. 17.
There was a four-way tie for low putts.
This nine-hole league is open to all women golfers. Play is held every Monday from May through September at the Highland Springs Golf Course in Wellsburg. Tee-off begins at 5 p.m. Those interested can sign up on the day of play by 3:30 p.m. by calling the clubhouse at (304) 737-2201.
