Following the recent flooding that occurred in the Wheeling and Ohio Valley areas, Cathie Yeager, outreach chairman at the First Christian Church in Weirton, spearheaded a drive of non-perishable items at the church. Donations of supplies were collected for the victims to assist in clean up efforts. Church pastor, the Rev. Mark Mayer, loaded his truck and delivered the items to a donation center, where they will be distributed to anyone in need. Taking part in the drive were, from left, Pam Yelich, moderator of the church board; Mayer and Yeager.
