The American Legion Argonne Post 33 presented Cub Scouts Pack 401 Steubenville with a check for $3,000 on Thursday afternoon. Joe Holliday, service officer for the Legion, explained members try to assist local organizations and nonprofits in need. Those taking part in the check presentation at the Post included, from left, Holliday, Destiny Swoyer and Savannah Kline; and back, Kenny Walter, trustee; Ben Swoyer, den leader; and Terry Channel, first vice president.
