WEIRTON — Members of the Four Seasons Senior Club gathered at Undo’s Restuarant in Weirton on April 16 for the group’s monthly meeting.

President Gene Viola called the meeting to order.

Tony LaRosa provided the opening prayer. He then led in the club’s recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of “God Bless America.”

Members were introduced to the afternoon’s guest, Mary Ashton. The entertainment for the afternoon was provided by Chelsey, officials announced.

Members were recognized for being the winner of one of the meeting’s prizes. Winning members included Marge Burskey, 50/50 drawing; Stephana Iannetti, sign-in book; and Nancy Smurda and Helen Bayne, Undo’s gift certificates.

Winners of the door prizes were Rita Orler, Terry Mamula, Joyce Dobbs and Janet Orler.

Club members who were celebrating an April birthday or anniversary were recognized. No anniversaries were mentioned; however, those celebrating a birthday included: Faye Jones, Viola, Carol Wisnieski, Jim Sims, Liz Beecroft, Barb Gugliemo and Josie Cekinovich.

Viola gave the secretary’s report, which was approved by the membership. Cekinovich announced the treasurer’s report, which was approved by members and filed for audit.

Officials announced the next meeting of the Four Seasons Senior Club will be held on May 21 at Undo’s.

Jokes were told by Cekinovich, Beecroft, Jim Cerra and LaRosa. LaRosa provided the closing prayer.
