The Wintersville Woman’s Club held its annual Make It, Bake It, Take It auction Thursday at St. Florian Hall. The event raises money for scholarships awarded by the club. A variety of items are created by members and brought to the meeting where they are auctioned off to the highest bidder. Fundraising Chairman Vicki Brozka showed a basket containing homemade sourdough bread, apple butter and cloth napkins with napkin rings. The final meeting of the group for the 2024-25 season will be held on May 16. The program will include a parliamentarian skit entitled, “Be the Leader of the Pack.” The project will be “Bring a Friend.”
