The Jefferson County Farm Bureau celebrated the birth of Cole Allen Nay as the first baby born during National Agriculture Week, celebrated from March 21-27. Nay was born at 3 p.m. on March 24 at Trinity Medical Center West. Weighing in at 8 pounds, 11.2 ounces, Nay was 21 inches long. He resides in Steubenville with his parents, Sydney Hutchinsen and Craig Nay, along with his four siblings. A basket of baby items was donated to Nay’s family by Jefferson County Farm Bureau board members. Helping to celebrate in the birth were, from left, Connie Crawford, Farm Bureau member; Hutchinsen and Nay.
