WINTERSVILLE — The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club announced its competition winners for the month of April. The theme participants used was entitled “Shadows.”

Theme category top finishers included John Hanish, first place; Sue Adey, second place; and Lisa Carte, third place.

The open category top finishers were Dennis Jones, first place; Karen Felix, second place; and Sam Rees, third place.

In the category of special effects, those placing included, Rees and Sharon Slokan, tied for first place; Hanish, second place; and Adey, third place.

The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography — whether it is by using a camera or a cell phone — to join.

All are welcomed to attend its meetings, with the next meeting to be held at 7 p.m. May 20 at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1085 Canton Road in Wintersville. Meetings are held on the lower level social hall.
