STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced its upcoming events at area branches.

Steubenville’s Beatty Park StoryWalk and Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. April 12. Join in the festivities and read the park’s first StoryWalk of the year. When you’re finished, visit the Main Library for children to collect their prize.

Adults: Author Trisha McAfee will discuss and sign copies of her book “Aaryon and Friends,” at 6 p.m. April 10. The book is about a group of kids who have their own way of seeing and experiencing the world because of autism.

Make a spring decoupage at %;30 p.m. April 9. Register to attend. Supplies are free.

Children: Tot Time will be held for parents and children between the ages of 2 and 4 at 11 a.m. on April 8, 15, 22 and 29 and at 5:30 p.m. on April 10, 17 and 24. Register to attend.

Children: Children ages 2 to 4 are invited for stories, songs and rhymes during Tot Time, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. April 7. Register to attend.

Children: Pick up a grab-and-go Story Time on April 7, while supplies last. The book “Chester’s Masterpiece,” by Melanie Watt and an activity will be included in the bag.

Babygarten will be held at 10:30 a.m. April 10 and April 24. The lap-sit program is for parents of children ages birth to 2.
