Drawn to the library. That is what officials with the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County are hoping area residents will be during National Library Week. This year’s event will be celebrated from April 6-12, officials announced. Those who visit the library will receive a free drawstring bag, while supplies last. So, what’s the draw? Everything. From families attending Tot Time to students sketching out their next project in the Makerspace, libraries have something to offer everybody. Begin National Library Week by ordering a Dewey Decimal Stacked Tray from Gem City Pizza in Toronto, officials commented. Owned by Phil Reese, Gem City Pizza will give those showing their library card $1 off this stuffed pizza, which includes ham, salami, pepperoni, onions, banana peppers and cheese — almost everything — just like the library. New library card holders will receive $1.50 off their stacked tray pizza, officials noted.
