Library reading program to begin
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County will be starting its winter reading program Monday. It will run through March 31, officials stated. Those who are interested can join the “Read Around the World Reading Challenge,” and explore new worlds, one page at a time.
“Pick up your passport and complete exciting reading challenges to unlock amazing prizes,” officials stated. Adults will have the opportunity to travel through various stories and track their pages in order to win prizes such as gift cards, an air fryer gift basket and more. Every literary traveler who reads 5,000 pages will receive a tote bag and endless bragging rights.
Children will have a chance to discover magical adventures with the library’s bingo game. Those who take part in the reading challenge will compete for rewards, including LEGO sets, a Bluey gift basket and other surprises. The challenge runs for a little more than two months. Tote bags and drawing prizes can be claimed beginning April 15. Stop by the library to pick up your passport and let the adventure begin.
