Schools unite for Christmas

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club from Steubenville, Edison and Indian Creek Local high schools gathered Friday evening for a Christmas celebration at 7 Ranges Entertainment, located inside the Fort Steuben Mall. Approximately 30 students attended the event, which included pizza, drinks, bowling and arcade games. The relaxed setting allowed for attendees to connect, share in conversations and enjoy the holiday season with one another. An anonymous donor covered the cost, officials noted. They said the holiday gesture allowed students to participate in all of the activities free of charge. Impact Church played a significant role in coordinating the event, according to Bobbyjon Bauman, who serves as the area’s FCA adult ambassador. As organizer of the local clubs, Bauman stated, “This was a great opportunity to spend time with students from other schools and celebrate the season together.” The event highlighted the values students share about fellowship and community, which the FCA promotes. Bauman said the night offered students a fun and festive way to kick off the holidays.
