Pupils study biology

Earlier in the school year, 48 students in Tally Paisuk’s sixth-grade science class at John Gregg Elementary School learned a little about biology. Stephanie Vance, a teacher at Catholic Central High School, paid a visit to the Edison Local children. The group gathered at a creek near the Bergholz building where they learned a lesson about identifying organisms in creeks and how pollution can hinder aquatic life. Paisuk said Vance participates in a program at Fernwood State Forest, a place she has taken her fifth-grade pupils to on field trips.
