Library announces its upcoming events and activities for coming weeks
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced its upcoming events and activities.

Adults: Tai Chi class will meet at 10 a.m. Dec. 26. Join us every Thursday to take part in the one-hour class taught by certified instructor Mike Turrentine. Spacing is on a first-come, first-served basis. Those planning to take part are asked to dress comfortably.

Those throughout the community who are 17 years of age or older are invited to play Dungeons & Dragons from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 23. Those interested are invited to return to play every Monday at the same time. Registration is required.
Children: Take your Elf on the Shelf to watch a movie at the library at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Register to attend this fun holiday movie.

Adults: Get moving with chair aerobics, scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. Dec. 27. The program is scheduled at 10 a.m. each Friday for those wanting to take part in the exercise class. Registration is required.
Adults: The library’s Thriller Book Club will be meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss “Christmas Presents,” by Lisa Unger. Call to join the group discussion.
Children: Take home a grab-and-go bag containing materials for a holiday craft. Bags can be picked up at the library beginning Monday, while supplies last.

Children: A holiday scavenger hunt will run from Monday through Dec. 20. Complete the hunt by looking for items throughout the library and receive a treat.
Babygarten, a lap-sit program for parents and children ages birth to 2, will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. Tuesday. Register to attend the program that includes books and rhymes.
Teens: Make a bell ornament at 4 p.m. Monday. The craft is for those ages 10 to 18. Register to participate.
