The Broken Fences 4-H Club members held their June meeting at Richmond Park.
So far this year, the club has participated in multiple activities such as window decorating for 4-H week, planting a flower garden at Friendship Park and performing community service activities.
A demonstration on different types of horse brushes was given at the meeting. Members will be receiving new T-shirts for their club this year.
Members are busy preparing for the Jefferson County Fair in August. Projects include hogs, goats, horses, chickens and rabbits.
The club’s next meeting will be held in July.
