Reading program winners to be named

STEUBENVILLE — The following programs and activities are being offered by the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County at its various locations:

An online program enables viewers to watch the library’s virtual worm race on Monday at 11 a.m. on the YouTube channel, PLSJ. After the virtual race, grand prize winners will be announced for the library’s Throwback Summer Reading Challenge.

Book club will meet on July 28 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss “The Barbizon” by Paulina Bren. Call the library to join.

Family Recovery Center will present “Dealings with Feelings” to children in prekindergarten through first grade on July 27 at 11 a.m. “It’s been a stressful year for children, too,” noted Jennifer Cesta, the library’s public relations coordinator. ” This program is designed to help children manage their feeling through fun activities.”
