Cadiz Women’s Golf League
The play of the day for the Cadiz Women’s Golf League was foursomes with pairs playing alternate shots.
The results were: Third place, Sandy Terek, Carol Lepic, Judy Crawshaw and Janice Cook; second place, Glenda Sensel, Tracy Amos, Jane Galigher and Marilyn Kenny; and first place, the team of Karen Sims, Billie Stanwick, Joanne Hardman and Patty Stewart.
Hostesses were Karen Sims and Billie Stanwick. Golfing was followed by a brief meeting where final details were discussed for the July 15 guest day. Next week’s hostesses are Judy Crawshaw and Carole Patton. Play of the day will be low gross score.
Red Oaks Ladies League
The women of the Red Oaks Ladies League traveled to Wellsburg on June 29 to play at Highland Springs Golf Course. The play of the day was “Throw Out the Worst Two Holes.”
Yuko Atwell came in first place, Dotty Virtue came in second, and Brenda McKloskey was the third-place winner.
Kathi Moore had the longest drive on hole No. 10. Ruth Lamantia was closest to the pin on the second shot on the 14th hole.
Atwell had the lowest number of putts for the round. Virtue and Atwell both birdied hole No. 13.
Town and Country
Town and Country Golf played their monthly scramble on June 25.
The winning team consisted of Kathy Antinone, Pat Zorne and Sondra Hyde.
Other winners were:

Long drive hole No. 9: A flight, Antinone; B flight, Zorne; and C flight, Shirley Guida.
