Library announces schedule

of programs and activities

STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the following programs and activities planned at its various locations, including:

Brilliant Branch, (740) 598-4028

Children: Play and Learn the Alphabet, for parents with children ages 2-6, will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Children will play with letter-learning toys to enhance early literacy skills.

Adults: Book club will meet for discussion on Monday at 6 p.m.

Dillonvale-Mount Pleasant Branch, (740) 769-2090

Children: Story Time, for children ages 5-10, will be held on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Register by calling the library

Schiappa Branch, (740) 264-6166

Adults: Book club will meet for discussion and a special presentation on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Author William David, a Wintersville resident, will be at the book club to talk about the six books he has written. He also will have copies of the books available to purchase and sign. Registration is not required for attendance.

Get Tech Help to download library apps, books, e-books, movies and more on from 1-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Call for a 15-minute appointment.

Children: Babygarten, for parents with children birth to 2, will be on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Stop in for this lapsit program that shares songs, books and rhymes with participants’ babies.

Adults: Thriller Book Club will meet for discussion at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Call to join.
