Cadiz Women’s Golf League
The Cadiz Women’s Golf League played a “Predict Your Score” game on June 19.
Hostesses Nep Rowland and Peg Buchanan announced winners closest to their predictions. Flight A was Janis Cook. B flight was a tie between Joanne Hardman and Tracy Amos. In C flight it was Kim Ochsenbine.
The “Putt Pot” was split between Nep Rowland, 26, and Brenda Hartley and Lori DeFallo, 27. Kathy Newburn had a chip-in on hole No. 9 and a birdie on hole No. 1. Lori DeFallo also had a birdie on hole No. 1.
Game of the Day on Wednesday will be “Three Blind Mice” with Roberta Ciruddo and Donna Griffin as hostesses. Tee time is 9 a.m.

Proximities prizes were hole No. 8, closest to the pin, Mary Ann Bainbridge; hole No. 14 closest to the pin, Mishal Hawthorne; hole No. 17 closest to the pin in two, Mishal Hawthorne; low putt, Cathy Ralston; and longest putt, Mary Ann Bainbridge.
Birdies were made by Mary Ann Bainbridge on hole No. 8 and Barb Lovaglio on hole No. 1.
In June 4 play, winners were:
First flight low gross, Barb Lovaglio, and first flight low net Dotty Virtue
Proximities were: Hole No. 17, closest to the pin in two, Mary Ann Bainbridge; lowest putts, Barb Lovaglio; and longest putt, Lory Symanek. A birdie was recorded on hole No. 7 by Mary Ann Bainbridge.
Nine-Hole League Mountaineer Woodview
June 3 was the first scramble of the season. The first-place team was Donna Burch, Rachel McCombs and Erin Ankrum.
The second-place team was Patty Filak, Janet Backel and Kim Rovnak. The third-place team was Sandi Burns, Patty Gerlando, Peg Freshwater and Holly Kisner.
