Brilliant American Legion

to hold fish fry on Friday

BRILLIANT — The Brilliant American be holding its monthly fish fry from 10:30 a.n. to 6 p.m. Friday.

Fish sandwiches are $6, and fish dinners are $9. Also avaliable are chicken tenders — four for $6 or a dinner for $9. Dinners come with bread, French fries and cole slaw.

COLLIERS — Country Friends will host Neon Knights on Friday and the Sands of Time Band on Saturday at the Memorial Hall located at 67 Police Lodge Road, Colliers.

The doors open at 6 p.m, the dance starts at 7 p.m., and the hall closes at 10 p.m. for both events. There is a $5 cover charge per person on dance nights.

Open mic is Monday. The doors open at 4 p.m., the covered-dish meal is served at 5 p.m., and open mic begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge on Mondays, but donations are appreciated.

Country Friends Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Christian friendship and brotherly love through music. All proceeds go to charity.

Music on the Deck continues

at Gathering Place Coffee Shop

BURGETTSTOWN — The Gathering Place Coffee Shop at Paris Presbyterian Church, 127 Steubenville Pike, Paris (Burgettstown), has announced performers who will be part of the Music on the Deck lineup this summer.

The Friday concerts begin at 7 p.m., and participants are invited to bring a lawn chair for the outdoor event. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved indoors.

Performers will include: Friday, Tammy Spicer, southern gospel and country; June 22, Jonathan White, Christian contemporary; June 29, Jimmy Z Trio, Jazz Jimmy Z Style; July 6, Robert “Elvis” Dale, Elvis Presley tribute artist; July 13, Roz & Lynn, Rock ‘n Roll, Doo-wop, classic country; July 20, Chalice, Christian contemporary and southern gospel; July 27, Led by Mercy, Christian contemporary; Aug. 10, Chelsea Matta Householder, classic country and classic rock; Aug. 17, Cross Vision; Christian Rock; and Aug. 24, Erica Lee, country pop.

Annual Fourth of July

luncheon for senior citizens

STEUBENVILLE — Seniors 55 and older are invited to attend the annual Fourth of July senior citizens luncheon.

It will be held at noon on July 4 at the Prime Time Senior Center, 300 Lovers Lane.
