Lighthouse celebrates serving the community
STEUBENVILLE — For two years, Lighthouse Counseling and Mediation Services has been located at 401 Market St. in Steubenville.
Lighthouse is internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and provides treatment for individuals with mental and behavioral health needs. Currently there are approximately 80 people who are prescribed Suboxone to assist in their recovery from opioid addictions.
Lighthouse also provides treatment for adults, adolescents and children who have mental health counseling needs. Lighthouse offers case management and children’s groups.
According to Lighthouse officials, the goal is to treat the whole person — mind, body and spirit — so that individuals can establish a foundation on which to build a productive and full life in recovery.
Lighthouse is owned by Kimberly Ford, CEO and clinical director, and her staff is composed of about 12 others who share a passion for helping others.
In addition to her multiple licenses, Ford has earned a certified first responder counselor designation.
Lighthouse can be reached at (740) 314-5339 and at the lighthouseohio.com website or on Facebook.
