INVITED: Ken Perkins, registered representative with Tri-State Financial Services, has been invited to attend the Cetera Advisor Networks 2019 Circle of Excellence Conference at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Marco Island, Fla.

The event will recognize an exclusive group of fellow advisers, senior leaders and strategic partners. The event will allow Perkins to network with other top producers from throughout the country, each of the four days will feature business meetings focused on professional development and practice management sessions intended to help each attendee and their business become even more successful.

“My team and I are excited to have the opportunity to recognize and reward you for your outstanding service and commitment to your clients and our profession,” Thomas B. Taylor, president and CEO of Cetera Advisor Networks stated in a press release.

This is Perkins’ first qualification for the Circle of Excellence. As a platinum qualifier, he will receive hotel accommodations for three nights at the resort, air transportation and other amenities.

Tri-State Financial Services was established in March 1985 as a MetLife Affiliate and continued as an affiliate of MetLife until 2013 when the independent Broker Dealer division was sold to Cetera Advisor Networks.

Perkins has qualified annually for Leaders or Presidents conferences since 1985. Perkins was recognized as a Presidents Conference Qualifier with Cetera Advisor Networks, LLC at the Connect 18 conference in San Antonio, Texas. In 2018, Perkins added more than $15 million in new investments to his more than $110 million of assets currently under management. In 2018, Perkins had set a goal of $1 million monthly in new deposits and, as of December, he had exceeded that goal depositing more than $15 million in new deposits for the calendar year 2018.

Tri-State Financial Services currently has offices located in Steubenville and East Liverpool. Their agents and advisors have a total of over 80 years combined experience. The firm has clients in 20 states and manages more than $150 million in assets.

NEW REALTOR: Realtor Bill Raymond will be working out of the Weirton office of Cedar One Realty.

He is a 2015 graduate of Catholic Central High School and studied middle childhood education and special education while obtaining his West Virginia real estate license in 2016.

Raymond is a full-time real estate agent and received his multi-million dollar producer award during his first year as an agent. He is studying to obtain his Ohio license.

LIMITED PARTNER: Paul Sweeney II, an Edward Jones financial adviser in Steubenville, has accepted an invitation to become a limited partner in the Jones Financial Cos., the holding company for the St. Louis-based financial services firm.

Edward Jones employs 45,000 associates in all 50 states and through its affiliate in Canada. This is the firm’s 17th limited partnership offering in its 97-year history.

“I am honored to be invited to become a limited partner in the firm,” said Sweeney. “I enjoy working for Edward Jones, and I am very proud of the way we do business and the way we treat our clients.”

Jones Financial was created in 1987 to enable the firm to expand into new business areas while allowing it to remain a partnership. It owns Edward D. Jones & Co. LP, which operates under the trade name Edward Jones; EDJ Leasing Co.; the Edward Jones Trust Co.; and its international financial services subsidiary, Edward Jones Canada.
