Tri-State Financial earns honors

STEUBENVILLE – Tri-State Financial Services has been recognized as the leading agency with SBS Brokerage Services LLC of Carnegie, and for the second consecutive year has received the 2015 Practice Leadership Outstanding Performance Award, which recognizes the firm for its outstanding performance and practice development.

Ken Perkins of Tri-State Financial Services was recognized as the leading producer affiliated with SBS. He also was named a presidents conference qualifier with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC, which is headquartered in El Segundo, Calif. Perkins will be recognized for his efforts during a conference later this year in San Diego. Perkins also qualified for the 2016 Million Dollar Round Table, where he is a life and qualifying member with 17 years of qualification. At the annual sales symposium held by SBS Brokerage Services, Perkins was recognized for his 2016 production, leading the group year to date with a 42 percent improvement over the prior year through April 30.

Suzanne Kresser, an agent with Perkins and Tri-State Financial Services, again was recognized as the leading producer of fixed annuity products with the Slovene National Benefit Society, which has its national headquarters in Imperial. This is the second consecutive year she has led the 200 agents affiliated with SNPJ in deposits to fixed annuity products. As of April 30, Kresser is the top producing agent with SNPJ, leading the company in production of fixed annuity products with a 74 percent improvement over prior year production.

Alex J. Abrams, a financial adviser with Tri-State Financial Services, was recognized at the annual SBS sales symposium for his year-over-year production increase. Through April 30, Abrams has increased his overall production by 56 percent over the prior year, the highest increase of all advisers affiliated with SBS Brokerage Services.

Charles W. McCoy II, a financial adviser in his first year with Tri-State Financial Services after 32 years with MetLife in the East Liverpool area, was recognized by Sammons Retirement Solutions as a leading producer of its variable annuity and mutual fund wrap products. McCoy was presented with a plaque by T.J. Hussar, regional vice president, for his placement of business with Sammons during the 2015 calendar year.
