Arrested: Richard J. Fowler, 39, Apartment 5, 400 South 22nd St., Weirton, second offense-driving under the influence ad failure to drive in a single lane, Saturday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Off-roading: A large panel truck delivering an appliance to a resident in the 300 block of Maplewood Drive, Steubenville, damaged a neighbor’s yard, Monday. The property owner said instead of backing into the neighbor’s driveway, the driver pulled into his yard and got stuck in his garden area. He said the driver spun his wheels trying to get out of the mud, damaging his yard.

Trail of trash: A property owner in the Bergholz area has been told to clean up her property, Nov. 25. Deputies were contacted by a Jefferson County Health inspector who told them there was a trail of trash along Springfield township Road 275 leading to the residence in question, and township officials wanted charges filed and the homeowner ordered to clean it up. In addition to old appliances and lawn tools, the property in question also was littered with old coolers, tires, bagged trash and junked vehicles, including several overflowing with trash.

Arrested: Isabella Christiansen, 27, 559 Linden Ave., Steubenville, failure to comply, Monday.

Ohio State Highway patrol

Arrested: Miranda Birch, 39, 71- Hickory St., Martins Ferry, possession of drugs and receiving stolen property, Monday.

Steubenville police

Entered: Two vehicles parked in the 3000 block of Whitehaven were entered overnight, Monday. A gym bag, a multi-tool and a coffee mug were taken from one of the cars.

Taken: A woman told police she left her wallet in her unlocked car in the 2000 block of Linda Way and someone took it, Monday.

She said she’d left her driver’s license, birth certificate, credit cards, cash and personal papers were in the wallet.

Recovered: A U-haul trailer stolen from a lot in Livingston, Md., was left at a lot on North Seventh street, Monday.
