Charged: Jerry Hildebrand, 1206 Hill St., Brilliant, dogs at large, Tuesday.

Charged: Jason Brown, 82 county Road 17, Rayland, failure to appear warrant from Belmont County, June 16.

Jefferson County sheriff

Family: A Richmond resident returned home from work to find his Polaris side-by-side missing and a vehicle belonging to his son’s friend in the driveway with several beer bottles beside it, Monday. The owner told deputies his son appeared to be intoxicated when he showed up some time later without the vehicle and an argument ensued. When deputies arrived on scene they said the son was uncooperative and wouldn’t follow directions. The two younger men said the vehicle was stuck in the woods. Later, the friend said his vehicle wouldn’t shift gears properly and smelled like something was burning.

Leery: A Wintersville resident asked deputies for help getting a male off the premises, Monday. The woman said the man might have a gun, but deputies said he had none with him when they questioned him. The woman said she feared retaliation because she’d asked the man to move out.

Stolen: A Bergholz resident reported his Kubota side-by-side had been stolen from his home, Monday. The utility vehicle was valued at $15,000.

Arrested: Michael Mills, 38, 601 Two Ridge Road, Wintersville, failure to appear, Monday.

Steubenville police

Noisemaker: Someone in the 900 block of Sheffield Avenue reported hearing a woman screaming, Monday. When they arrived on scene, police said they found a woman “singing very loudly and yelling to music” outside her residence.

Surprised: A Maryland Avenue resident awoke to find a mountain bike had been left in their fenced-in yard, Monday.

Stolen: A lawn mower was taken from a residence in the 1300 block of Park, Monday.

Customer always right: A woman who wasn’t satisfied with her fast-food order was ordered to leave a restaurant, Monday. The manager said the woman was complaining and yelling at employees.

Arrested: JaQuin R. Boston, 30, 473 S. Fifth St., bench warrant, Monday. Boston also cited for driving under suspension.

Arrested: Courtney Bonar, 22, 1677 Township road 163, Rayland, bench warrant, Monday. Citations issued to three companions, Trayton A. Brewer, 20, 243 Cunningham Lane, Steubenville, defective/unsafe equipment and driving under suspension; Cassandra L. Bonar, 20, 1677 Township road 163, Rayland, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and Dejon L. Loveless, 22, 112 Brondus Ave., Steubenville, possession of marijuana.

Toronto police

Arrested: Dana Zeigler, 32, 9110 State Route 213, Toronto, failure to appear, Monday.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Ashly D. Ceglie, 41, 509 Lynn St., Follansbee, warrant for identify theft, Saturday.
