Steubenville police

Arrested: Wade L. Manns, 26, 614 Buena Vista Blvd., Steubenville, two counts criminal trespass, criminal mischief and contempt, Monday. Manns allegedly was spotted at or leaving properties from which he’d been banned, police said. A witness also reported seeing Manns throw a beer bottle through the rear window of a vehicle while a woman was in it charging her phone, police said.

Arrested: Brian Wright, 37, 723 Garfield Ave., Carrolton, warrant for domestic violence, Monday.

Struck: A juvenile was hit while crossing Calvin Way by a vehicle operated by a family member, Monday. Police said the youth had exited the family member’s vehicle and was starting to cross the street when another car turned onto the street, prompting him to step back. When he did, the tire of his family member’s vehicle rolled over his foot, injuring his ankle.

Damaged: A vehicle parked in the 600 block of Ross Park Boulevard was vandalized, Monday. Police said someone made a large scratch in the driver’s side door.

High grass: Officers reported high grass at 1262 Sinclair Ave., 1220 Lincoln Ave., 1315 Pennsylvania Ave., 1317 Pennsylvania Ave., 403 Rosslyn, 834 Rosswell Ave., 210 Forest Ave., 2661 Alvaredo Blvd. and 216 Harvard Blvd., Monday. Owners were notified of the violations.

Trouble: Juveniles reportedly threw rocks and fireworks into a pool in the vicinity of Maryland Ave., Monday. The youths were described as being between the ages of 9 and 12.

Disagreement: A large group of juveniles on McDowell Avenue near Maryland preparing to fight dispersed when officers arrived, Monday.

Fraud: A Third Street resident reported someone making fraudulent charges on his bank account, Monday. The man told police he’d spotted a $1,050 purchase Monday and a $200 transaction dated May 25, neither of which were his.

Disorderly: A resident in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue reported a juvenile urinated on his front door, Monday. The youth fled the scene before police arrived, he said.

Jefferson County sheriff

Broken: A woman told deputies her boyfriend broke the rear windshield on her car during an argument at a location on Township Highway 263, Bergholz, Monday. The woman told authorities she wouldn’t press charges because she didn’t want her boyfriend to get in trouble.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Sierra I. Davis, 20, 1645 Ridge Ave., Steubenville, possession of a controlled substance, May 23.

Arrested: Cole C. Mullins, 26, 125 Bilby Lane, Follansbee, disorderly conduct, May 24.

Arrested: Angela D. Buck, 38, 29 Luka Road, Rayland, failure to appear, May 26.

Arrested: Richard B. Jennings, 29, 3593 Bealls Ridge Road, Wellsburg, failure to appear, May 26.
