Free job fair planned in West Virginia city
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin is hosting a job fair with more than 270 employers at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Toyota, Amazon, Northrop Grumman, Gestamp, N3 and other companies will be on hand for the free event.
There will also be a resource area where attendees can practice introductions, work on interview skills and strengthen resumes.
Manchin says more than 1,000 jobs are up for grabs.
