Edison baseball falls

MINERVA — The Edison baseball team ended its season with a 3-0 defeat to Hiland in a Div. III district semifinal contest on Tuesday in Minerva.

Tyler Haught started and took the loss for Edison. Dalton Cresap, Ryan Higgs, Haught, Andrew Kinney and George Ash all recored one hit for the Wildcats.

Hiland, the top seed, scored one run each in the first, second and fourth innings. It will face No. 6 Ridgewood at 5 p.m. today at River View for a district crown.
