Indian Creek’s Rawson to be a Panther

Indian Creek senior Austin Rawson flanked by, from left, brother Jerome Jones, mother Karen Wayne, aunt Lorri Thornton and uncle Quent Thornton, will continue his academic and athletic careers at Ohio Dominican University, where he will be a member of the football program and major in pre-med. He was a Second-Team All-Eastern District selection as a senior. Rawson totaled 92 tackles, four interceptions, 37 rushes for 185 yards, 41 receptions for 668 yards and five touchdowns. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, guidance counselor John Kuczykowski, Athletic Director Joe Dunlevy, offensive coordinator Joe Hammack, head football coach Andrew Connor, assistant football coach Justin Wilson, vice principal Keith Swearingen and guidance counselor James Maul.
