Steubenville Big Red graduate Adam Sterling, flanked by his parents Troy and Nannette, will continue his academic and athletic careers at Bethany College, where he will be a member of the men’s basketball team. He is undecided on his major. Sterling was a Division II all-Ohio second-team selection, averaging 15.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 2.4 blocks and 2.2 assists per game. The 6-foot-4 swingman was a first-team all-Eastern District and all-OVAC pick. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, Big Red assistant coach Jeff Lombardo and head coach Mike Haney.

Indian Creek graduate Whitney Martin, flanked by her mother, Doris, and nephew, Xzavyir, will continue her academic and athletic careers at Bethany College, where she will major in psychology and physical therapy and be a member of the volleyball and track and field teams. Martin finished fourth in the 100 and fifth in the 200 in Division II?in the Ohio State Track and Field Championships at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. She was also a first-team all-OVAC volleyball selection as a junior. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, Redskins track coach Gene Ciciarelli, volleyball coach Crystal Hammack and strength and conditioning coach Joe Hammack.
