I think the Jefferson County Jail gets plenty enough money to run on. There is such a thing as setting up a budget and sticking to it. I see money being wasted all the time in Sheriff vehicles Running other Officers to Restaurants and picking up food...they should use their own gas for that or carry a lunch.. I'm sure there is plenty more mis use of funds going on as well. I think when building that new jail they bit off more than they could chew...but even though it is big it can still be ran on the monies that they receive, and if they can't its time to hire a new sheriff. We budget what we do at our house..I run my home on very little money, If I can't afford something I go without. No Big Deal...

It is obvious that "bad guys" do whatever they feel like doing anyway. So my vote is YES.
