I wasn't directly affected by this merger , but I have seen it all happen before. Churches in Vandergrift PA. were forced to consolidate ... eliminating parishes built and mantained by the working class. Churches where people of Italian , Slovokian , Polish ancestry could feel comfotable among their own nationalities. The bishop ( Greensburg Diocese ) built himself a " Taj Mahal " then too.

yes and you have no idea unless you are involved what it does to your faith it seems as if what the p[eople want does not matter at all--no-one above the people should be making these decisions unless it is GOD
