formula409, I beleive the question involves the price of gasoline, NOT housing or dining preferences. Even those people who are driving 2nd ( and 3rd ) hand "hoopties" have to drive to get to work. Many people are being forced to work 2 jobs in order to afford the neccesities ( rent / food / clothing ) for their families as well as the upkeep and fuel for their cars. For the majority, it isn't a matter of MONEY MANAGEMENT , it is a matter of survival.

EastOhioan, Especially when they are driving those gas-guzzling SUV's and Pickup trucks, have a mortgage for a house twice the size of what they really need, going out to eat at restaurants multiple times a week ordering high priced drinks and meals.......IT'S CALLED MONEY MANAGEMENT.

Thank God, I'm retired. I can't see how it will be possible for people to get to work , pay their rent / mortgage and feed their families unless there are controls placed on the price of gasoline in the near future. God Bless What USED to be America.
