I don't fear federal intrusion. I support the federal government keeping track of who in this country is communicating with potential and known terrorists or people affiliated with known terrorist organizations. What I do fear is the loss of privacy to private companies. When you install an app on your android device I feel the permissions far exceed what is necessary. We give permission for apps to get into our mics and camera, it's just far too intrusive. I assume the purpose is for advertisements that can be tailored toward the individual so they're more lucrative but that doesn't make it ok. Take some time and read through all of the permissions for the apps installed on your android device, you'll be surprised by how much access to personal information you've granted.
