Should the city include a roundabout in its Lovers Lane widening project?

A round about on Sunset? Seriously? Can't see any good coming out of that! There is already a nice wide access road to the mall, John Scott Highway. Just repair Lovers Lane, close the Mall entrance and allow Lovers Lane to be the quaint, two lane road that it is supposed to be. I would also look for another planner because even suggesting a round about on Sunset should be a red flag.

Roundabouts create more confusion then the alleviate. There is generally not enough traffic on lovers lane to warrant anything like this. Widen the lanes so a 1 ton dually can get through without ramping the curb all the way down and your golden, take the extra money you saved from the roundabout and fix some potholes elsewhere..

People didn't even know what to do when Sunset Blvd was widened and turing lanes were added, they're not going to know what to do with a roundabout.

Roundabouts are the worse thing. We have one down here in Viera going to The Avenues--shopping center. There is at least 2 wrecks a week there. The State Patrol is now "citing" the County of Brevard because they do not have proper signs "explaining" how to drive the aroundabout.
