Weirton Police Chief Bruce Marshall surprised A.G. Lucas, volunteer Special Response Team medic, with a plaque to recognize his contributions to the Weirton Police Department on Wednesday. "He's always the first guy out, no matter what time of the day or night. He always trains with us, and he's just always there for us. There are no words for how much he means to us," Marshall said. "It's an honor to serve with you guys. I love all of you, and I'd take a bullet for any one of you," Lucas commented. "Hopefully I've got another 10 years or so left, but we might need to keep a walker in the trunk of a cruiser," he joked.
