SELECTED: Weirton lawyer Joseph G. Nogay has been accepted for membership into the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers, an organization that recognizes the best civil litigators in the United States.
Nogay is a partner with the Weirton law firm of Sellitti, Nogay and McCune. He is admitted to practice in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania and has successfully litigated cases in those states and New Mexico.
He has successfully represented individuals and Fortune 500 companies in litigation.
He is married to Cathy (Samples) Nogay, and they have two sons, Evan of Pittsburgh and Camden of New York City.
The current president of the organization is Mark Geragos, who serves as a legal expert for CNN.
LOOKING AHEAD: Gregory R. Metcalf, RFP, RFC, CWS, is among the first 2,000 professionals who have obtained the Certified Wealth Strategist designation. Administered by Cannon Financial Institute, the designation recognizes individuals who complete study of the issues surrounding effective wealth advising to comprehensively address clients' wealth management needs.
The designation provides financial services professionals with the technical knowledge, practice management know-how and client communication skills needed to create and build a wealth advisory practice that works effectively for clients with more complex wealth issues.
