Headed to Bethany
Steubenville Big Red graduate Adam Sterling, flanked by his parents Troy and Nannette, will continue his academic and athletic careers at Bethany College, where he will be a member of the men's basketball team. He is undecided on his major. Sterling was a Division II all-Ohio second-team selection, averaging 15.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 2.4 blocks and 2.2 assists per game. The 6-foot-4 swingman was a first-team all-Eastern District and all-OVAC pick. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, Big Red assistant coach Jeff Lombardo and head coach Mike Haney.
