Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, 128 S. Fifth St., Steubenville, will host a charitable fundraiser to pay for final expenses for 5-year-old Amari Pratt, who died June 8.
The spaghetti dinner fundraiser, organized by her grandmother, Mary Jeter, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on July 26. The menu will include spaghetti, salad and dessert. Cost is $7 for adults and a $4 "Amari Special" for children ages 3 to 5.
Patrons can dine in or get carryout.

Never Alone founder to speak
The Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church Women's Group will host the founder of Never Alone West Virginia in an effort to share information, answer questions and raise awareness.
Patti Barnabei's presentation will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church located at 139 Gilson Ave., Weirton.
Never Alone West Virginia is a nonprofit organization supporting a drug-free community. Its mission is to raise awareness of the substance abuse problem in the community and support those who are in the battle against addiction, according to a news release.

Salvation Army street fair July 26
The Salvation Army of Steubenville will be having its annual street fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 26.
It will be set up on Dock Street between Third and Fourth streets, Steubenville.
There will be games, food and inflatables. There also will be face painting and tattoos (not permanent).
This is a free event and open to the "whole community," according to a news release.

Christmas in July Festival July 26
The Voice of Pentecost, 106 Mendenhall St., Weirton, will hold a Christmas in July Festival from noon to 5 p.m. on July 26.
The event will feature face painting, carnival-type games, food, a bounce house and dunk tank. Vendors will include Pampered Chef, Miche Handbags, Gold Canyon Candles, Origami Owl, Pretty Little Things, Odds & Ends by Lynne, Just Divine Wreaths and Thirty-One.
Patrons who bring a donation for Urban Mission Ministries will receive a 15 percent off coupon for any non-food or game vendor booth.
