The Academy of Lifelong Learning wrapped up another successful season of offering seniors a chance to expand their minds and horizons as another series of classes ended and so, too, a spring luncheon to acknowledge that.
It was held May 23 on the campus of the Franciscan University of Steubenville at the Tony and Nina Gentile Gallery where new officers were introduced, including Iris Craig, who is taking the reins as president.
She replaces Eunice Lincoff, the academy's president for five years who offered a recap of progress and changes that occurred during her tenure.

An educational organization for senior citizens in the Tri-State Area, ALL offers a six-week series of classes in the fall and again in the spring.
"ALL is a peer-led, peer-taught, non-credit continuing education program offering educational and enrichment opportunities for adults in the Tri-State and surrounding areas," according to a promotional brochure.
The academy membership fee is $50 per person per semester. This entitles members to sign up and attend any or all classes and to sign up for trips, which are an additional cost and vary in price.
The academy is in its 14th year of offering a broad scope of educational as well as travel and social opportunities for both men and women in the Upper Ohio Valley region.
The Franciscan University of Steubenville is the sponsor of the Academy of Lifelong Learning.
