Special guest to address Italian American Cultural Club in presentation open to the public

June 10, 2014
Herald-Star
The Italian American Cultural Club will welcome artist, writer and inspirational speaker Lou Del Bianco and his performance of “In the Shadow of the Mountain” at the club’s June 17 meeting. The presentation that begins at 7:30 p.m. at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville is open to the public. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at the door. Using historical photographs and information, Del Bianco relives the creation of Mount Rushmore National Monument through experiences he learned from his grandfather, Luigi Del Bianco, who was an Italian immigrant and chief stone carver on the Mount Rushmore project. Lou Del Bianco has won numerous awards for his writing and speaking. Questions can be directed to Jane Antonucci, IACC president, at (740) 765-4287.
