Headed to West Liberty

Edison High School graduate Kylie Long, flanked by her parents Dirk and Beverly Long, will continue her academic and athletic careers at West Liberty University, where she will be a member of the soccer program. Long was a black cord honor graduate and earned the President's Education Award Outstanding Academic Achievement. She was an OVAC Class 5A first-team soccer selection in 2012 and a track and field state meet qualifier in 2011 and 2012. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, Edison soccer coach Jeremy Angelo and Principal Matt Morrison.
