The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the following upcoming programs:
"Fizz Boom Read" is the summer reading club for all ages that begins Monday and runs through July 18 at the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County.
This year's science-related theme will have children, teens and adults conducting experiments, making liquid nitrogen ice cream and launching rockets. Those interested in participating can register at their nearest library branch. Adults will have the chance to win a Kindle Fire, and teens will have a chance to win an iPod Nano.

ADULTS AND TEENS
There will be a Law of Attraction presentation with Erin Bowers on Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. at the Tiltonsville branch.
Book Club for Adults will meet at the Tiltonsville and Toronto branches on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Join by calling the Tiltonsville branch at (740) 859-5163 and the Toronto branch at (740) 537-1262.
Learn how to download books and more from the library's website to an electronic device at the Schiappa branch on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedule an appointment by calling (740) 264-6166.
Family Movie Day will be at the main library on June 14 at 2 p.m.
New to library programming is "Watch The Book Night," which features a movie each month that was adapted from a popular book. It will be held on June 13 at 6 p.m. at the Schiappa branch. To register and find out what's playing, call the library at (740) 264-6166.
Play and Learn (caregiver and children ages birth to five) will be held at the Schiappa branch on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and at 6 p.m.
A "Mad Scientist" program for ages 5 to 10 will be held Tuesday at the Schiappa branch at 2 p.m., then at the Brilliant branch at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, the program will be at the main library at 11 a.m. then at the Toronto branch on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Mad Scientist also will be held on Thursday at the Dillonvale-Mount Pleasant branch at 3 p.m., then at the Tiltonsville branch at 6 p.m.
Gaming for Kids (grades K-6) will be at the Schiappa branch on Wednesday anytime from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Make a craft at the Toronto branch on June 13 at 2 p.m. Register for this program by calling (740) 537-1262.
Drawing class will be taught at the Adena branch on Monday at 1 p.m.
