The Jefferson County Christian School won first place in Ohio for the Recycle Bowl Contest sponsored by Keep America Beautiful and Nestle Purified Water. The school was awarded a plaque and $1,000 for recycling 36.11 tons during the four-week contest. Taking part in the award presentation were, from left, Diane Hutchison, administrator of the Jefferson County Christian School; Louise Holliday, JB Green Team Jefferson County education coordinator; Vaughn Foster Jr. and Dillon Sindeldecker, students at Jefferson County Christian School and Anita Petrella, JB Green Team Jefferson County Recycling Coordinator. -- Dave Gossett
