Staff Sgt. Sean Bleibtrey accepted a $1,000 donation recently presented on behalf of Hancock County Savings Bank by Catherine J. Ferrari, chief executive officer and president. In addition to the donation, those associated with the Army Reserve Training Center on Front Street in Weirton held a car wash to help raise money for Family Day, an event that brings servicemen and women together with their families. “We have a network of support for families of troops who may be deployed soon or are currently deployed. We put together care packages and events like this one to help families cope with or prepare for that absence,” Bleibtrey explained. “This is a special thanks to the servicemen and women and their families for the sacrifices they make to protect us all,” Ferrari said. To donate, contact Brenda Gianangeli at (304) 748-7660 or by e-mail at -- Shae Dalrymple
