TORONTO - Logan Allen and Nate Stewart combined to shut out Bellaire St. John, 13-0, on Friday. The Toronto pitchers allowed just five hits.
Allen started and struck out four and walked three as Stewart struck out on and didn't issue a walk in the fifth inning.
A pair of home runs sparked the Red Knights (12-10) at the plate.
Jarin McIntosh hit a three-run homer in the first as Stewart belted a two-run bomb in the second inning. Stewart also singled.
Tyler Antinone singled in a run, whule Ryan Cline singled, doubled and brought home two runs.
Billy Solomon, Will Newbold and Dan Zdinkak added singles.
These two teams play again today in the sectional at Bridgeport. First pitch is a 5:30 p.m.

Ferry beats BL
MARTINS FERRY - Martins Ferry got off to a strong start with five runs in the first inning and added on in a 14-4, six inning win over Buckeye Local.
Andrew Hillman, Dylan Grubb and Austin Antill all pitched for the Panthers (12-11). Hillman struck out one and walked one, Grubb struck out two and walked two and Antill issued a pair of walks.
Hillman brought home two runs at the plate with a single and double, while Jonathon Borkoski singled, doubled and had an RBI.
Zach Merkle doubled in a run.
Martins Ferry improves to 13-9.

Devils pound out win over IC
ST. CLAIRSVILLE - The Indian Creek baseball team scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning, but it wasn't enough to complete a come from behind win.
St. Clairsville topped the Redskins, 13-10, on Friday.
Jimmy Bolyog, Tanner Wise and Jonathan Blackburn pitched for Creek. Balyog started and took the loss after striking out one and walking one; Wise came on in the fourth and walked one and Blackburn pitched the fifth and six and struck out one and walked two.
At the plate, Adam Freshwater hit three singles, a double and drove in a run. Jonathan Woodbury, Liam Campbell, Sean Smith and Anthony Krager all singled in runs. Wise doubled and had an RBI.
