To the editor:
Read the Federalist Papers. Carry the Constitution in your back pocket. Sorry - this is the 21st century, and if one wants a debate, let's debate fracking, coal burning in abandoned mines, coal slurries, disposal of radioactive waste, who's not white enough or black enough, global warming, who's gay, who's straight and who can worship where and how.
The Constitution isn't infallible. By its own wording, the Constitution giveth, but it also taketh away. The losers are the biggest cry babies. By its own wording it is the duty of every lawyer to defend his client to the point - not past the point - of breaking the law if applicable. Technicalities prevail.
