More than 150 were in attendance at the first "Valley Youth Rally" sponsored by the Valley Youth Workers Network which is made up of more than 20 adult church leaders who work with students in the upper Ohio Valley.
"Its purpose is to unite youth and youth ministries together for the purpose of seeing students come to know the Lord and for those who already know him to deepen in their walk with Christ," a spokesman said.
One youth shared a testimony, the Crossroads Christian Church and Starkdale Presbyterian Church Youth bands led worship and a message was given by Pastor Mark Blakely.

Free pizza and cookies were provided, and there were contests for free iTunes cards and T-shirts.
Starkdale youth worker Kylee Paris said, "This was awesome. This could truly be the start of something big in valley area in terms of bringing revival among the youth."
Another rally is scheduled for Sept. 7.
