Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson County held its March match activity on March 30 at Gem City Pizza in Toronto, courtesy of A.J. Hunt and staff, which involved a tour, making pepperoni rolls and having a pizza party afterwards. Casey Peters, BBBS coordinator, explained that the monthly match activity involves Bigs and Littles and those on the waiting list, too. The get-togethers foster friendship and serve as a support system and program promoter. For information on the BBBS program, the office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in suite 10 of the Gallery building, 2700 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. The April match activity is to be a demonstration from the K-9 unit and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
